I have recently left Sandia National Laboratories Geophysics Department and am spending the next six months in the oil-patch as a "scholar in residence" at BP-Americas, Houston TX.   I will be joining the VT faculty in Blacksburg in August 2007.

You can check out my SNL research activities at www.sandia.gov/comp-em-geop.

My VT website is now available at filebox.vt.edu/users/cjweiss/Pages.

If you are interested in student or postdoctoral opportunities in the exciting field of electromagnetic geophysics, from investigations of Earth's deep physiochemical state to basin scale exploration to near-surface geotechnical mapping and hydrogeophysics, please contact me at cjweiss@vt.edu.
