This workshop brings together a group of international experts in the fields of health physics and public safety issues related to uranium mining and milling and nuclear energy generation. It is intended to provide a scientifically-based review of the state-of-the-art knowledge related to these important societal issues facing southside Virginia and surrounding areas.
