2009 Geosciences Fifteenth Annual Alumni-Faculty Homecoming Dinner and Celebration of Four Decades (1950's through 1980's)

Please join us for the Fifteenth Annual Alumni-Faculty Dinner on Saturday, November 7, 2009, at The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center. We invite you to bring your family and friends, renew old friendships and make new ones. The social with cash bar begins at 6:00 p.m. followed by the buffet dinner at 6:45 p.m. Reservations must be received by October 23. After dinner, we will remember four decades from the 1950s - 1980s through the eyes of William C. Presley, B.S. '57, Thomas T. Jeffries, III, B.S. '65, Michael F. Hochella, Jr., B.S. '75 and Kay (Jacobsen) Johnson, B.S. '86.

Our departmental seminar on Friday, November 6, entitled "Mountains, Methods, & Models: Characterizing Reactive Transport in Streams Affected by Acid Mine Drainage"e; will be presented by Robert Runkel from the U.S. Geological Survey in Denver, Colorado.
